How to set up a Computer Tool Kit

You want to fix your sick computer? Here is what you need.
The largest amount of Computer problems are software related and very often caused by tracking cookies and illegal registry entries by certain sites usually designed to spy on your shopping habits in order to market to you. This is the first things you should add to your toolkit. So, first of all you need something to combat these things that is easy to use and quick. I recommend FCleaner. You should run it every time you come off the internet. Get it here free:  FCleaner
And you need Fix-it Utilities. Save $10 on Fix-It Utilities Professional 9. It will repair the registry and is good for 3 PC’s and you can use the install disk for a recovery disk! Also, you can create a rescue disk with it. It also has an excellent virus scanner and many useful tools. These two programs will give you enormous protection.
If you have a home wireless network, you need this program called Network Magic. It makes file sharing and printer sharing a breeze and really protects your network. Get it here:Pure Networks
I recommend “Avast” anti-virus which is totally free. You just register with a valid e-mail each year for free to get the registration key. Get it here:   Avast
Some other excellent free programs you should have: Bazooka Scanner which scans your computer in about 1 Second. Ad-aware which scans for invalid registry entries and tracking cookies and removes them. Get Bazooka here: Bazooka     Get Ad-aware here:  Adaware   Also “Iobits Advanced Windows Care Personal” which is free and does an excellent job of closing up your security defenses. Get it here: Advanced Windows Care
You also should really add a disk called Ultimate Boot. It is free and most useful.
Ultimate Boot CD
Another one I just added that is helpful is Tree Size Free   It will show you where all the space on your hard drive is used up, so you can see where you need to clean up. Very useful! Oh yeah, and free!

And then there is the hardware side. You need a good computer tool kit first and foremost. You can use a good rollup USB keyboard. I have read some saying you need an extending magnetic stick for picking up loose screws, but I personally do not want any magnets around my computer or and electronics for that matter, so scratch that one!
You can add various cables that will be useful. Get a universal set of various adapters (USB to USB, etc.) They come in a case. You need a decent size thumb drive. You need a ps2 to USB adapter and a SATA/IDE to USB adapter. And a case to carry it all in. You can get all of this at      Geeks.com (scroll down for this banner) probably at the best price.  You can search online for information to take on any task that may come up. It is not as hard as you might think. I think most should be able to handle it.
